Hotel Bernini Palace is located in the heart of Florence, overlooking the Piazza della Signoria. Just a few minutes walk from the Uffizi Gallery and other popular attractions, it is the perfect base for exploring this beautiful city.

 

Originally a 15th century palazzo, the hotel retains its elegant past, with elaborate cornices, antique furniture and paintings.  The foyer and first floor have recently been refurbished by designer Gil Dez, and are now an elegant blend of classic Italian style and North African elements, inspired by the times when African spice merchants lived and traded in the city.

 

The 74 guestrooms and suites are all beautifully furnished and the recently refurbished first floor is now called The Executive Tuscan Floor.  Here, warm colours and terracotta floors combine with four-poster beds, lavish fabrics and antiques. All have satellite/cable TV, safe and free high speed internet connection. Views are either internal courtyard or street view.

 

A full buffet breakfast is served in the magnificent frescoed ‘Sala Parlamento’ (Parliament Room), formerly a meeting place for members of Parliament when Florence was the capital of Italy.  In the Restaurant Brunello, chef Walter Ferrario has created an innovative, seasonal menu, combining Tuscan, national and international cuisine.  The new Brunello Lounge Bar is the ideal place for enjoying a pre-dinner cocktail, along with appetising tapas, sushi and tamaki, whilst every afternoon, delicious teas sweets and cakes are served.
