Under the same ownership as Masseria Cimino and Masseria San Domenico, Borgo Egnazia Golf & Spa Resort is an elegant five-star retreat, 10 years in the making and a celebration of traditional Puglian architecture and design.  Built entirely from local resources, Borgo Egnazia spans more than 49 acres, and nestles between the mountains and the Adriatic, a short distance from the traditional fishing village of Savelletri.

Designed entirely in shades of white, cream and taupe, the resort comprises of 63 hotel rooms and suites, 94 Apulian townhouses, and 28 three-bedroom villas.   The townhouses are set in the ‘Village’, which takes its inspiration from the nearby traditional hill towns. Located around a central piazza, the Village comprises of one and two-bedroom townhouses with balconies, private Arab style gardens and private roof terraces overlooking the sea.  The villas each have three bedrooms and come complete with their own private pool, garden, wraparound balcony and roof top terrace overlooking the sea. Villas can also inter-connect to accommodate large families and groups, with up to 12 bedrooms per cluster.

The resort offers an excellent choice of bars and gourmet dining options, including three Puglian restaurants, each fusing innovative flavours with authentic regional cuisine. Guests can choose to dine al fresco, or within the traditional dining rooms, with their typical Puglian design of vaulted ceilings and cosy fireplaces.  The Beach Club also has its own bar and restaurant.

The championship level San Domenico Golf Club, beckons beginners and seasoned golfers alike, against a backdrop of magnificent sea views. In addition, there is a car park, pro’ shop, bar, restaurant, sauna, solarium and TV/reading room.  Non golfers will be spoilt for choice, with four swimming pools (including the indoor Thalassotherapy pool), the Beach Club (offering an array of water-sports), a games room, tennis courts and a library.   For the little ones, the resort offers a Kiddies Club.  A few minutes drive away there is sailing, wind and kite surfing, horse riding, soccer and kart racing available.
